Fat Kid Cake

Nate and I love to try new restaurants when we're able to go out on dates. And we're fortunate to be living somewhere with an endless supply of great restaurants to try! Here is dessert from Saturday's date night. It's called "Fat Kid Cake", and has layers of creme brûlée, chocolate mousse and cake, red velvet cake, and cheesecake. It comes with a birthday candle whether it's your birthday or not!

Best Ever!

These are the only matching shirts the kids have: Best Bro/Sis Ever.  Cheesy, but cute.

Our Backyard

I just love that the beach is our backyard. Seriously it makes me so happy, and I'm pretty sure the rest of the family agrees!

Weekend Fun

Finley's first time on this ladybug ride at Ocean Park.  We had a fun morning watching pandas eat bamboo, riding the merry-go-round, and playing on the playground.

He's just so darn cute and innocent when he's asleep. Can't believe he'll be 4 in another month!
