The Snail and the Whale

Finley and his classmates made this super cute newscast video about a book they read called The Snail and the Whale.  They made all the props, as well.  CLICK HERE to watch.

Sick Babies

Elise has been quite sick all week with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. There has been an insane amount of crying in our house! And now Finley has it too, though it seems much milder than Elise's.  So ready for us all to be healthy and out of quarantine!

Elise insisted on wearing this shirt. Seems a bit ironic given her current state.

Bubbly Water

They had a taste of my bubbly water and though it felt so funny!

The Backyard

A walk down to our "backyard" to show Grandma Jane and Aunt Amy. So beautiful even when it's cloudy.

Building a cave of blocks at the school playground.

More coming soon...

So Behind!

I am so behind on posting! Needless to say, life has been busy! CNY, Jane and Amy visiting, everyone sick, Singapore, work, Nate traveling, amongst other things I won't even go into in here. So let's just start with iPhone photos.  That's all I can manage right now!

Our first turkey, almost 16 lbs of it! Barely fit in the oven. Last turkey left from the holidays at the grocery (and organic at that).  We had to buy it since it was about $21 instead of $125!!

Welcome, Year of the Sheep/ram/goat!

Jane and Amy (Nate's mom and aunt) made the very long trek to HK for the first time for the CNY holiday! Here they are at a lion dance with the kiddos.

My little gweilos in their Chinese best are just too cute.

The fam :)

More to come soon...

Writing, Car Wash & Dress Up

Look at our little artist and writer!  He wrote "Mom" and drew a picture of me, complete with private parts and all!

Finley also made this sign and put it on my bedroom door because he wanted me to buy bagels.  Poor kid has been deprived of his favorite breakfast since we cut out gluten (and dairy, peanuts, almonds, soy, and beef).

A beautiful afternoon at the carwash.

Elise dressed herself in 2 hats, a sweater, Chinese pants and shirt, a rain jacket, and 2 ID badges.
