Christmas Morning

Christmas morning! We could barely hold them off opening the gifts!

Oh, the thumb

For our swing set at home, or Nate can just hold it.

So excited to play with new toys!

Christmas, part 1

My fancy birthday cupcakes from the famous Georgetown Cupcakes.

Elise's Christmas Chapel. She was an angel and learned about 8 songs for it. Unfortunately couldn't get any good photos.

In NC for Christmas and out to dinner with my awesome mom and sister. Nice to have grownup time.

Barnette Christmas. The next generation of cousins (plus Adam to keep Jamison happy).

These two were bouncing off the walls.

Jingle bell time!

Our little plumber, too busy playing to notice her pants falling off.

December in SS

Playing with our awesome new neighbors. Look at Everett's cute smooshy face!

"They're all coming to see Santa!" she said about the nativity figurines.

Brookside Gardens Christmas lights.

The kids loved running through this tunnel!

Adventicipation

Our church here had a great event this past Sunday with an equally great name-- Adventicipation. The kids got to help make the Christmonds for the tree, then we had a brief service to hang them and sing carols, and finally ended the evening with a live nativity (slash mini petting zoo). So special.

Crisps in SS

A few photos from a trip to the awesome playground in Wheaton during Jessica, Brett and Isaac's visit.

Lighting of the culinary-themed Christmas tree in downtown SS. It's made out of utensils, bottles, take out boxes and more.

Halloween

Elise's class. I got to help with their party and with getting them all dressed for the parade.

She took off running to me during the parade. :)

Dad, or rather Harry Potter, was also in the parade and able to grab a quick photo.

Photo courtesy of the WES photographer.

Finley's parade later that day with his class. They also had a nice assembly judging the teachers' costumes.

There's our firefighter!

And the next day, back in costumes. The kids completely chose what they wanted to be. (Not sure where the pig idea came from!)

Eager to go trick-or-treating!

Elise and I had nice bonding time passing out candy on the porch. She's very generous with the candy.
