Summer Begins!

The kids had a great time at VBS last week.

Then off to Ohio for Nate's 20 year high school reunion.

1 Year in MD

We have lived here (survived here) now for a year! Go us!

Sometimes the kids get really into playing outside, and it's so nice. Our yard is the perfect size for us-- big enough to enjoy and small enough to maintain. 

Date night! A special to dinner to celebrate that we survived the first year of our repatriation!

Date Day

Yesterday was Nate's and my first ever date day! (Really, I mean ever in 6 years of children.) We left both kids at summer camp and drove away quickly to DC before anyone could call us back due to a sick or misbehaving child! 

We started it off with an amazing brunch of crab benedict, strawberries and cream stuffed french toast, and plenty of coffee from Founding Farmers. We walked it off with a stroll around Georgetown, followed by a visit to the National Portrait Gallery. Then we squeezed in one more delicious meal-- ramen from Toki Underground-- before heading back to retrieve the munchkins. Success!

Finley's First Lost Tooth!

After a couple months of waiting, Finley lost his first tooth! So exciting!

And he finally got to use his tooth box!
