Spring in Silver Spring

Day trip to Baltimore. We're trying hard to make time to get to know our area!

This looks like a burger but it's actually my crab cake sandwich. So big, so rich, couldn't finish it all!

Easter, Finley's birthday

This lucky duck got two birthday cakes this year! Here's this little one from the bakery on his actual birthday.

And he had a party later that week with Grandmommy, Granddad, Matt, AnChi, Everett and Alden. Finley chose the food-- Chinese with plenty of dumplings and rice-- and was very specific about wanting me to make a two layer chocolate cake with chocolate icing.

Feb + March

Family sushi date night! Yum!!

Finley is all about some science experiments right now!

Finally got one snow day, in March!

Elise loves playing dress up.

And then Finley got the flu. Still recovering over a week later. Made some congee to help.

Nate and I took turns taking off work to stay with Finley. That meant I had time to make stromboli with the kids one of the days!

One minor cheese explosion, but otherwise not too shabby!

Catching up again!

And I just realized I am way behind in posting...again! Catching up on the last month or so before we get into Easter, Finley's birthday, and spring!

These two have a sweet new thing. They sometimes beg to sleep in each other's rooms. We let them do it on weekends but move them to their own beds before we go to sleep, as the wood floor and thin rug are quite uncomfy. Sibling love!
