It was a great Christmas in the Dennison household! We spent over half the day in pajamas, opening gifts, eating, and Skyping with family, and the kids were the best behaved on Christmas that they ever have been. I guess that was their gift to us! In the late afternoon, we went over to our friends' house for a vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc etc Christmas dinner and caroling.
You have to get creative with the Christmas tree when your living room is the size of most peoples' bathrooms.
Finley's favorite gift was a car transporter.
First bag of Mike & Ikes (the only candy he got, which he rationed throughout the whole day).
Elise's big gift, a scooter. She likes to pick her leg up and do "scooter ballet".
No hands, no problem!
Joint gift for both kids-- an empty fish tank.
"What do you think it's for? What could live in there?" we ask.
"Cockroaches?" asks Finley.
"No," we laugh.
"Little people??" he guesses.
The kids trying on my big gift-- rain boots.
Love how we got our fake fire in the back of this photo of our happy little firefighter.
Elise brushing my hair with her new "tangle teaser" (which I highly recommend for those with tangly hair).
At our friends' house for Christmas dinner.
Elise made this little Rudolph hat at school with her handprints.
Merry Christmas to our family and friends near and especially far. We love you and miss you!
