Time to fly back to NC. Elise threw a massive tantrum on the plane because she was tired, and then insisted on sleeping on Finley's lap for an entire flight.
We spent a great morning at a local dairy farm with Jessica and Isaac once we got back to NC.
This calf was trying to eat Isaac's pants.
The kids learned how to milk a cow on a pretend one.
They fed the baby milk from a bottle.
We took a hayride around the premises and learned about the farm.
Probably the kids' first exposure to hay, but no one seemed to be allergic.
Topped it all off with a sample of their yummy ice cream.
Granny and Papa came over to have dinner for their birthdays. This was the only moment all night when the kids briefly stopped bouncing off the walls.
Elise cuddling with Granddad before bed.
