There was much fun to be had in Michigan! Finley couldn't get enough of this kid-sized drum set Grandma Jane found for him! It was entirely too loud for him to play inside the house, but this was a perfect spot.
Elise played with Mickey, one of Nate and Cooper's old dolls circa 1981!
And then there was the zipline...
Water balloons were a bit hit, as well! Finley saved one that he tried to convince Nate to carry back to HK.
Then it was time for a little run through the sprinkler with Mickey and Grandma Jane.
We certainly enjoyed family dinners, as always. Such generous hosts.
We even got to meet a new cousin! Nate's cousin Jessie and her husband Custer had baby John about 8 weeks ago. So cute.
Here's a little friend we met at Fafee and Grandma Holly's house. I tried to tell this tiny mouse that it's not safe to sleep in the driveway, but he wouldn't listen to me. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. :(
We were determined to spend some time on the lovely Lake MI beaches, despite chilly weather.
No trip to the lake is complete without a beach picnic, but the weather wasn't the best, so we ate dinner inside.
But we made it out for dessert...smores!!
Elise's first taste of a smore!
This is the sweetest thing EVER! Big brother sharing a bite of his smore. :)
Yay! What a great trip to MI!
